Process Groups are a key part of your recovery journey and we are excited about helping you start yours!
Process Groups are small gender-specific group sessions offered throughout the week by your local in-person Recovery Alive ministry or through our online team. They function as a vehicle for working intentionally through the 12 steps in a safe environment.

Author, Recovery Alive
"You are about to embark on an arduous, intense, painful, and rewarding adventure. The level of effort you put into this process will directly correlate to the level of healing you will receive.
There are no right or wrong answers to these questions. Recovery works if you work it (and won’t if you don’t). You will find this process less than effective if you are less than honest, if you are less than committed, and if you are less than self- focused. Expect to be challenged, expect to feel pain, expect to feel loved, expect to change.
May God bless you as you begin your process of healing!"
Process Group Guidelines
01
Process Groups are gender specific, issue non-specific. We have groups of women and men who struggle with a wide range of diverse issues who are seeking the same solution: Jesus.
03
05
Process Groups meet weekly on a consistent day and time, at the same location, and take approximately 4-6 months to complete.
02
Process Groups are closed groups; once the Process Groups are formed, the same group of people will participate from beginning to end. This allows participants to form strong bonds for support and accountability in working through the 12 Steps.
04
Process Groups meet for an average of 1.5 hours each session.
Process Groups require both individual work and group sharing. Participants will work individually throughout the week out of the Recovery Alive Handbook. This includes reading the lesson and answering the associated Process Group questions. Participants will then share their answers in the weekly group session.
